Shilpa Shinde (born 28 August 1977) is an Indian television actress. She made her television debut in 1999 but came to the spotlight for playing a negative role in STAR Plus's soap opera Bhabhi (2002-08). Roles in the medical drama Sanjeevani (2002-05) and historical drama Amrapali (2002), strengthened her position in the television industry. Shinde is best known for playing Angoori Bhabhi in & TV's popular sitcom Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai!. She famously quit the show in early 2016 after having several issues with the makers. In addition to television, Shinde has starred in two Telugu films: Dasari Narayana Rao's Chhina and Suresh Verma's Shivani.
In October 2017, after a hiatus from television, Shinde became a participant on the Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss 11 and was proclaimed it's winner on 14 January 2018.
